Review: The Werewolf of Fever Swamp

The Werewolf of Fever Swamp
The Werewolf of Fever Swamp by R.L. Stine

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Grady should move to Fever Swamp with his scientist parents. The neighborhood seems nice at first, he befriends a boy and a girl his age and keeps a big dog as a pet. He calls the dog Wolf.

However, the swamp is not as safe as he thinks. Each night when a full moon is out, he always heard howls in the swamp, something scratches the back door, and many animals are killed horribly. It is said that a werewolf exists and it is the one who has done those terrible things. His parents accuse Wolf as the killer. Is Wolf a wolf, or worse, a werewolf? Or is it the swamp hermit whom people think is kind and harmless?
