Review: The Haunted Mask

The Haunted Mask
The Haunted Mask by R.L. Stine

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Carly Beth has a bad enough life already. She hates the fact that she is so… scare-able. She is scared so easily and screams so easily. People around her love to make her scared and scream, even her close ones.

For Halloween this year, she wants to be frightening and makes people scared. She goes to a store and buys the most frightening mask, with an ugly and deformed faces that changes the wearer’s voice into a deep low and frightening voice. Now everyone is afraid of her, but then she realizes that the mask has done something ugly and frightening to her actual face.

This time, I wasn’t tricked by the ending. Yes! for me.
