Review: The Girl Who Cried Monster

The Girl Who Cried Monster
The Girl Who Cried Monster by R.L. Stine

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

One more story to remind me about the story of a shepherd lying about a wolf attacks his flock, until one day a real wolf attacks but nobody believes him and judges him lying as usual.

Lucy Dark loves monsters and likes to scare people around her, especially her brother, with stories of them. She ‘sees’ monsters anywhere and people get accustomed to that. When someday she really witnesses her librarian turns into a monster, nobody believes her. Many ways she does to prove it, all fail.

Nice ending. Caught me by surprise. Never expect ending like that at all.
