Review: Welcome to Dead House

Welcome to Dead House
Welcome to Dead House by R.L. Stine

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I should say that this book will be successful in freaking children out.

Amanda and her family have no clue that when they move to the big house in Dark Falls, their life will never be the same again. The house is old, big and creepy. Amanda sees something she shouldn’t see, her younger brother Josh has nightmares, and their dog Petey behaves differently. As the name implied, the neighbourhood is sure a quiet and gloomy one, and so are the neighbours. Until one night when Amanda and Josh go out to the cemetery searching Petey, they accidentally see that the graves bear the names of people they have meet in their neighbourhood.

Another story of a remote area full of undeads, a.k.a zombies, wanting to sacrifice new fresh blood for their city by luring the victims to the Dead House.

Love the suspense. Simple, yet, makes me cannot stop reading until the end.
